Torzo's new X factor

Torzo has released a self-servicing version of their flagship Grappler product.

Grappler is a gym machine allowing upper-body cv exercise through mimicking climbing via a patented manila looped rope.

The new design, known as the Grappler X, is reported to be virtually maintenance free due to a simpler design which features less moving parts and no inner workings

Dave Savage, Grappler's inventor, says: “It's always been sturdy. The only thing on it that is going to break is the rope which will need replacing depending on the amount of usage.

“Now it's got a simpler design it means gyms and fitness professionals can quickly pop on any replacement parts and be off and running straight away."

The Grappler X also now features the choice to pull up as well as down for advanced users to gain a workout to different muscle groups.

However, it is the seated downward pulling motion that allows for an injury free workout, making it ideal for those making exercise a part of their recovery from injuries and illness.

Savage continues: “The beauty of the downward pulling motion is that your grip will break before muscles are damaged, meaning that it's impossible to injure yourself.

“It also means that the Grappler is great for those new to exercise as they will get a great workout without the strain associated with those initial trips to the gym.”

The Grappler can be found in JJB and Total Fitness gyms nationwide and is now also part of the regular training routine for prison and fire service gyms as well as the Royal Marines.
